I saw mr Ramakrishnan at Nuffield Brentwood in Oct 2018, for abdominoplasty with muscle repair. I found mr Ramakrishnan and the staff at Nuffield very professional and they always took the time to answer any questions or concerns that I had. I saw mr Ramakrishnan a few times before my surgery to give me the opportunity to ask any questions that I had. He was very reassuring to my worries.
The aftercare I received was excellent both from the staff and mr Ramakrishnan, He did not discharge me from the hospital until he was completely satisfied that I was well enough to leave, I then had regular follow up appointments and could contact them at any time if I had a problems. I would definitely recommend mr Ramakrishnan to anyone who is looking at having this type of surgery.

I’ve always wanted a breast-reduction.
Dr Ramakrishnan made the whole process as easy, and worry-free as possible. I was 100% confident that he understood exactly what I wanted to achieve, and had complete faith in him.
He has achieved amazing results for me, and I couldn’t be happier or more confient.
Dr Ramakrishnan, his nurses and staff are simply wonderful and I’m forever grateful.
If I had known it was this easy, I would have had the operation years ago!
I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him !

in every way of care that i was given was of the highest standard from
the entry to the hospital wards nurses also care from the consultant nurses Debbie and all the ladies that were in on the days i attended

Mr Ramakrishnan is a truly outstanding professional! I had a rhinoplasty under his care and the advice, procedure, and results were all perfect. His aura oozes expertise, warmth and just all round brilliance really. From getting to know him a little bit on a personal level I saw nothing but kindness, understanding, great wit and compassion. I think I love him a bit too much.

Mr Venkat V Ramakrishnan is a Consultant Plastic Surgeon at St Andrew’s Centre for Plastic Surgery and Burns, Chelmsford, UK. His main work involves microsurgical reconstruction and aesthetic surgery of the breast. Secondary interests are microsurgical reconstruction of the chest wall, abdomen and lower limb.
Mr Ramakrishnan has a major role as trainer in microsurgery and was an inaugural tutor in Plastic Surgery at RCS of England and the Director of St Andrew’s Centre for Plastic Surgery and Burns. He is on the editorial board of the Journal of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery and Archives of Plastic Surgery. He is a fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of England and Royal Australasian College of Surgeons.
Mr Ramakrishnan has numerous publications/presentations at national and international meetings. Main areas of research and audit are in microsurgical techniques, service delivery and microcirculation in free flaps. He is visiting Professor at Anglia Ruskin University .
